During the oil boom HBCI mobilized to Williston, ND where they reclaimed oil pads for five years. Reclaiming a pad entailed shrinking the footprint of the pad, getting everything to drain, implementing erosion control, and blending the perimeter of the pad into the existing landscape. Since many of these pads were on farmland, reclaiming them returned as much farm-able land as possible to the farmer. They were all basically big earth moving landscape projects.
